Hallman Manual Boost Controller

Hey!

Im posting this in the newb section cause this is a total newb question...

I need to buy a Hallman boost controller but ive been searching and some ppl are having issues w/ theres when it comes to them needing a heavier spring cause the one they bought doesnt have it and there only getting like 10-12psi.

Which one do i need to push higher boost? I also need the incabin one. Im gonna be getting tuned by mellon tuning so i need a boost controller. heard great things about hallman.

thanks in advance

Oh ya, please chime in if you know a vendor that sells it for a good deal haha!

Have the tuner supply whatever they use for best results. Mine was tuned by CBRD and I am running a Hallman MBC and running steady of 24 PSI spiking to 28.

almost any mbc will work. a mbc is one of the simplest devices out there, its just a spring and a ball. I, as well as many other ppl i know, run a cheap 5$ mbc that u can make urself at home depot or buy on ebay for like 8 bucks

The hallman pro's come with the spring you will need.

The pro rx comes with the low psi and high psi spring.

I am using the Pro -RX and 40+psi was not a problem with heavy spring.

I have this boost controller...

http://www.maperformance.com/hallman...oller-kit.html

but to hook it up u have to drill through firewall and what not... so i was wondering if temporarly could i set it up to be non-cockpit controlled (normal manual boost controller setup)
