Good bye evo hello m5 v10
picking up a Biimer huh.
Be prepared for that car to lose $20k or more off the value when you drive it away
I know my friend has had one. When it was time to trade in he ( actually his parents ) had to fork over 18k to cover the difference. ( He only put 5 thousand miles on it.)
Also be prepared to have that thing in for service 1-2-or even 3 times a month ( depending how fussy you are ) yes it has a nice powertrain, nice styling, etc.
but.................... All the electronic guts come from the normal E60... ( $hitt E electronics. )
oh and you think your not gonna stand out in a M5 ? you are very mistaken.

and the m5's are just amazing cars- yea they weigh more, but you dont get a sound from cheap plastic pieces, or creaky dash noises when cold, or....the list goes on.

why are most evo owners haters on nicer cars? geez, you guys seem like a bunch of 10 year olds....
there are nicer cars than evo's guys, I hate to say it.
you all probably think nsx's are junk and the 335I's are junk.
It's not like the evo is a dream to drive for a normal daily driver. I love the evo more than most people, but how can someone honestly hate the new m5?

its not about evo owners hating other cars. its about his comment that evos are little kids car that draws too much attention. is he saying that m5 won't draw attention? come on... he can buy whatever car he wants because its his money but why does he need to insult other evo owners? now he's saying that evo is just a $20,000 matchbox car? 
I never realized there are so many haters out there and you people have no clue of what your taking about lets say i lose to a evo who cares im in 100,000 super car and your in a 20,000 matchbox car all in all i liked my evo if a didn't i would have not traded my stage 3 s4 v8 for it.FORGOT TO MENTION THE M5 IM PICKING UP HAS WORK DONE TO IT A ECU,HEADERS,EXHUAST ,INTAKES,AND PULLED 475WHP!!!!!!NOT BAD FOR A 4,000 POUND PROBLEMATIC EURO CAR HATERS!!!!!!!

I love my Evo to death, but by no means is it as mature an automobile as a BMW M5. The finish level, the comfort level, the interior ambiance, and most certainly the price differentiate it. They are not even remotely in the same category aside from both having four doors. There is simply no point in comparing them... The Evo is simply a showy car. The car has a 10" wing on it, it is not what one would call business appropriate. Both are great cars, but they have different audiences and different purposes.
