I apologize if this offends anyone.

But spending more than $1500 on wheels is ****in pointless.

Spending $4000 on wheels, then driving them on streets with potholes, curbs, dumbass drivers, debris, etc... God forbid there is even a scratch on one.

If you want to spend 4k on light wheels and go to a track with proper conditions, smooth surface, and lowest rotational mass possible, then go ahead and fork over some money, that will help improve your times.

But to go to your local grocery mart to pickup some milk and toothpaste and drive back home. Then its ****in pointless. Do you really think any girl will me like "OMG! He's got Volks! He can f**k me any day.*** then you are sure doomed for a rude awakening.

I say. Get yourself some knock offs and all the go fast parts you want and I bet you will be happier than getting yourself some expensive *** wheels that you will be worried about bending every second you drive the car.

There's way too big of a gap between Rotas and Volks, Advans, etc to argue it that way. Comparing Enkei Racing wheels to Rotas, maybe.

For some of us, it's not about impressing anybody but ourselves. I'm getting Advans because I would like to rock a quality wheel, with original R&D and design.

Ha, it shouldn't come as a surprise that we support the performance aspect of dollars spent.

Go for the power... just make sure you get the proper supporting mods.. and a good tune.

Rims wise... stick w/ stock... get some better tires if anything.... but if you wanna be different... and you must have rims.... go w/ Enkies they are by far the best bang for the $ and you won't get clowned on if your ever "flossing" on others.. Please DO NOT BUY ROTAS (see sig)

Good luck

Honest question, though... have you ever driven a 450+ WHP car before? Because that's what you're going to be heading for with that turbo upgrade.

Just wondering, because the GT307xR bolt-on is no slouch... that's a lot of potential power. I'd figure in your own mind, you've decided to go that route or not already. It's kind of a big decision.

It's a whole lot of go... that needs a whole lot of stop.

I agree with him on this a 400-500whp car is no slouch for street driving.
