So, I Joined The Group Tonight
Yep, you heard right. Just traded off my '09 Mazdaspeed 3 on a left-over '08 GSR. Apex Silver w/the SSS package. Pics to come soon.
Did anyone else have this much trouble sleeping the first night they brought their baby home?

Out of interest, why no love for the MS3? Don't get me wrong, great choice on the X.
Congrats!! Every time I plan on doing something new to the evo's, the planning keeps me up for weeks. It's a killer!!!
Your going to love your X.
You know I've heard of X clutches going out but could that be due to poor driving? ours is doing just fine. Also at about how many miles have most people been wiping them out?

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, I appreciate it.
The car is great. Pretty much exactly what I expected it to be.
For those that asked, I didn't have a problem with the speed 3. I actually really liked it. It's just that an X was my first choice, but back in December, there weren't the deals that are around now. That, coupled with my impatience, prompted the purchase of the 'speed.
It was a great car, and, although I'm sure many people will argue with me, it felt stronger in the midrange than the X. But, as everyone knows, it was EXTREMELY traction-challenged. That, coupled with my preference for a sedan to a hatch, helped make my decision easy.
Pics to come soon, although it's just a bone-stock apex silver X, so nothing outstanding to see for now.
