BR Exhausts (which is louder?)

Hey guys. I am new hear> I have been driving around an 06 9 MR for about 2 years now and its bone stock and quite frankly think its time for an UPGRADE. I just want to start off with something basic (intake, tune, exhaust and see where that takes me)
I am 100% sure that i want a BR exhaust but now do not know which one. I want one that is VERY loud (whole decibel legal issue doesnt matter to me, and no i wont get annoyed by the noise because i also ride a gsxr1000 with DNDt pipes so noise isnt an issue) But i also want the exhaust to really put down the HP numbers
So im stuck between the Buschur Racing Evolution 3" Turboback Exhaust w/ Bullet & HFC or the BR Evolution 3" Mandrel Bent S.S. SCCA Legal Catback along with the BR DP. I dont reall care if they are used or not. I just need to know which one is louder and overall better performing. What are your takes? Thanks

Of course, BR Bullet TBE with a test pipe! And for the extra obnoxiousness, I'd suggest EPM or JMFab o2 dump Many people say that sound doesn't equal power, but in this case, it does! The BR TBE is one of highest if not the highest whp providing exhausts, and the addition of an o2 dump over a rerouted o2 housing picks up a few extra horse power.

My Evo had a BR Bullet TBE with test pipe and a JMFab o2 dump and it was the best noise you could imagine. Loud as hell, yes, but it never got old.

This is the case on stock turbos... but not when you go with a tubular manifold.. after you go with a different manifold.. the car DOES sound like a Civic and sounds like junk.. so Original poster, if you are going to stay stock frame turbo, then the buschur is fine.. but if you plan to upgrade.. then you are going to want to either put 2 bullet mufflers underneath the car or get the magnaflow in the back and bullet in the test pipe location.. but you will lose a couple of HPs that way.. Buschur also released an SD muffler that is supposed to sound better on the upgrade turbos/tubular headers... Good luck.

Well, so far you guys hit it on the money there haha. Everyone seems to be going with the bullet/test pipe. I guess that is what i am going to go with then. Yea i was really trying to avoid the whole Honda Civic Fart can sound and i am assuming the BR TBE Bullet is far from that. I was just confused because the other BR exhaust talks about how it is SCCA legal etc. So i suddenly thought that it would be louder due to racing applications. Well im going to go with the Bullet then. No other exhaust really struck my mind. I didnt really want and exhaust that was flashy. (burnt tip etc) just something loud but also put down the numbers. Thanks!
O and as far as upgrading the turbo. That may be in a few years so right now im just looking at Intake, and a tune... Now i have to realize why i just bought a $2700 laptop that does kicks a$$ but i have no use for. That could have been alot of parts for my car.

Order the tbe w/ bullet muffler and get the SD muffler in place where the cat would be. It will be loud enough trust me.

i have a bushur v band exhaust with my bullet muffler in the testpipe section and it sounds like sex and looks like it too from the back end, because there is no muffler to see....and i think it throws off cops because then you have a big "bulge' where the cat is supposed to be also....hehehe

Buschur exhaust sounds really good...but if your looking to go a different exhaust instead of buschur look into the Extreme Turbo Systems exhaust. Its very load and sounds nice i had it on my EVO...check it out on the website www.Extremeturbosystems.com
