Why do I get the feeling you talked your parents into doing this, without them fully understanding the car. They probably think it is just another four door econobox. Someone needs to educate them fully.

Hopefully in two years they will know and be able to make a more informed decision.

I find it hard to believe that at 14 years old, you already know what college youre going to. I mean my 15 year old brother says hes going to Virginia Tech, but cant apply yet. Anyways back to the point....give me youre parents number haha, so I can let them know what this car is about. So I can make sure that youre in a 4 door honda, and still alive to make it to college. You know exactly what you want this car for. They dont.

With great horse power comes great responsibility.

Becareful with it. Also just because you can blow the doors off of half the cars on the road doesn't mean you need to race every ricer that pulls up beside you. Not saying don't have fun, I love a good on ramp when no one is coming, but the main thing with the Evo is to be mature.

IMO try get a WRX or a RalliArt, not quite a powerful as the evo but still fun. A good compromise.

Also I'd hate to see what insurance would cost for a young teen in an Evo.

+1 Stay under 200hp for your first car... learn how to drive first and control a car responsibly... If you dont respect the power of an evo it will kick your butt and we will be reading another thread of a blown motor or worse a totaled evo

1st thing i said when i got my evo is "this car has plenty of power i wont need to touch it and dont want to. I want something stock and fast"

2 weeks later i was at 550hp... you say that now... then again you are only 14 and no offense might not be able to afford the big mods to get you to that power

even stock though is powerful and i think to much for a 1st car IMO
