EVO IX for first car.
I won't be as blunt as everybody else, but I will recommend against the evo as a first car.
I thought I was a pretty mature, in-control guy. Drove a rav4 for 2 years without a hitch, got the evo and lost my licence within the month. Thankfully it was just speeding, and not something more serious.
Anyways moral of the story: I do consider myself pretty mature but obviously I'm not! I'm 21 btw. You will think you're in control, but you're not, and I can be almost certain that *something* will happen that nobody likes to see.
All I can ask is for you to think about what you're doing, and be responsible for your actions.
ps: and yes, be prepared for dead clutches if this is your first car!

no one on here knows you personally so they cant judge how you would act in this car, personally when i was 15 i could of drove that car and not got in any trouble but FINANCIAL issues kept me from getting it, i bought it now with my money and im 19 but i would of loved to have it 4 years earlier, if you have the matuarity and money to buy the car, take care of it and do all the maintence i dont see why not, its your life and your money, do not ask people you dont even know to make decisions like this for you, but remember that every action has its CONSEQUENCE and stupid decions will alter your life.
Well that's a good start to getting your account deleted. Seriously though, what is keeping you from just not checking the thread? Who cares about what people are saying about you if you aren't there to read it? That might be tougher for a 14 year old to wrap their head around but it really doesn't matter.
Also, if you want to "start over" my advice is to create a new account, not list that you drive an Evo when you don't, and just keep mostly quiet and gain knowledge by searching and reading. You will build a good knowledge base and possibly meet some really cool people in the process.

WHY is everyone paying sooooooooooooooo high on their insurance? I am 26yrs and i pay $92 a month!!!!!! Its your record that makes you pay high insurance not others previous crashes so get the whole insurance thing straight..
No.
You will most likely wreck it, not be able to afford to fix it, and end up being one of "those guys". That, or dead. Get a $500 ****box, learn how to drive, worry about fast cars later.
And stop making new threads asking the same stupid question.
Not always true, if a certain percentage of car A gets smashed up more than car B, over the years insurance companies pick up on this and rates increase for car A while car B stays the same. The Evo (car A) is expensive to repair, and a lot of evos have been smashed over the years, more than your average car. Hence being one of the highest insurable cars.
