Evo VIII ECU swap

The 04's ecu has a different part number from the 03, but what's the actual difference. Is if possible to use the 04 ecu in an 03?

I just went from the AEM back to stock yesterday. Pretty sure the stock ECU can out of an 04 or 05. No issues whatsoever........and goodbye AEM EMS......hello first time starts!!

yes you can use 03-05 on all Viii

Yep, 03-05 work on all 8's.
