My Rally Red IX MR

Well I've had my EVO for almost 6 months now, finally got some decent pictures of it - so wanted to post it!

It's a 2006 Rally Red MR. Got it with just over 20k miles on the clock, and has a number of proven performance mods done already.

The list:
Lots of Buschur Racing stuff -
BR Intake pipe and filter
BR mini battery kit
BR Vband turboback with bullet muffler
BR Race FMIC w/upper & lower pipes
BR Bushwacker built/cryo 5 speed trans.

Solid front lower motor mount
Walbro 255
Forge MBC
Exedy twin disc clutch
AutoMeter boost gauge on the steering column
Jester tune
MB Wheels - Weapon - 17x8 +28 offset
Like new RT-615 245/45/17 tires

This thing is amazing! - Every time I drive it I still laugh out loud at how absurdly fast it is, and how well it handles. I've owned normally aspirated "sports" cars and none of them even come close to the EVO.

I love rally racing, especially the old Group B cars, and the EVO even sounds like a rally car

Anyways, enough gushing, the pics:

Damn I love RR. I'm not really feeling the rims but that's just my stupid opinion.

Yeah, I was'nt too sure about the wheels at first (they came with the car.) I like the idea that they are functional - wider track from the stock +38 to +28 offset but I'd like a wider wheel 9" or 9.5" in a flat black color maybe.

I'd like to do some suspension/chassis mods - coilovers, whiteline roll center adjustment kit, rear bumpsteer kit, energy suspension bushings and a good corner balance and alignment.

So far though, it's been such a blast to drive as is , I almost don't want to change anything.....yeah, right..hehe

How do you engage reverse? Where's your lock out mechinism?

RR MR are pretty hard to find!

The original 6 speed trans. has been replaced with a 5 speed that was upgraded by Buschur Racing:

Basically the car has nearly all the necessary mods needed if I wanted to upgrade to a larger turbo.

Thanks for the comments guys, I specifically wanted a Rally Red - my favorite color

The IX MR has a 6 speed manual. How can you tell it only has 5 speeds?

Edit: Nevermind.. i re-read the first post. "BR Bushwacker built/cryo 5 speed trans."

Ok, looks like it was swapped.
