A newbie.....

Hey guys,

I'm new to cars and I want to mod my 03 Lancer ES auto, which i got in May.

Here are things on my list:

RMR intake (goes $165+shipping on their site...cheaper @ dealers?)
Greddy Cat Back Exhaust

any suggestions?
btw...Is it possible for me, a newbie who knows nothing about cars to install the intake and exhaust by myself?
I guess i will have to take it to a shop...
How much would the installation cost? (any recommended ones in South Bay, CA?)

Need to start saving...

Thanks for your inputs

It's pretty easy installing the intake, i didn't know much about cars and i put my intake in myself. Exhaust is easy installing too, the only thing that might be hard is taking off the bolts.

Hmm...wouldn't that be more expensive?
Cuz they are located in CA...which has 8.25% tax to pay...
haha...I'm cheap...

And I really have no knowledge on these...
Maybe I should find someone near to help me...

Welcome to the best show on earth!!! Try to find a friend who can help you install the intake & exhaust, they aren't that hard to do. Make sure and offer some or other goodies to get only the best help available. Plus by having a friend do it you can watch and learn, that way you can do more to your own car and feel as one with it, not like you buy something and then send it off to be installed
