Listen to some exhaust clips, like mentioned before, do a little pricing homework and pick yourself up something nice and "new". The Evo deserves it...
I agree what he said and I wouldn't go with that exhaust. There are so many exhaust systems out there so make sure you pick one you like best. Considering that you live in CO you have harsh winters just as we do here in NH. WIth that said I would definitely recommend full stainless steel or titanium system but that could cost $$$.

Yea I'm gonna tell the guy no deal. It wasn't as much as money is a factor it's just I didn't want to spend more than I needed to if it turned out to be a good find and no matter how rich or poor you are there's no reason to spend more than needed but in this case it seems it is needed because I'm not cheap enough to buy a inferior product to save a few hundred bucks.

I'm personally still on the fence about since the guy cannot even provide a brand name but I guess piping is piping. But to me the muffler looks like it has much diff shape than most exhausts I've seen around the web.
Ha ha, seriously man, its just $150 bucks - you've also got a Porsche and Yukon/Tahoe and what looks like a nice crib, I'm honestly wondering how you could be so indecisive on this. You should be able to eyeball it and tell if its worth it or not. Just carry some Mother's polish and a rag with you and see if you can make the muffler look decent, check it for holes and go for it.

If not, imagine the car is like your Carrerra, and buy a nice clean exhaust for it instead. Would you put a $150 used rough looking piece on it?

Hell no I wouldn't lol. I mainly bought this car thinking I could use it as a day to day driver I wouldn't have to worry about like the carrera and even the yukon. So I figured I would just put a cheap exhaust in to get a better sound which is why I made this thread but now i've fallen in love with it and treat it like my carrera. So in short I'm not putting anything but high quality parts in it even if they are more exspensive
