I have the K&N Filter and heat shield from RRM and it's nice. It's like a perfect fit and comes with bracket to hold in place. Nice cf heat shield and sounds really good! A little gain in performance.

The one I have (mentioned above), you can deffiently tell I have it. There is nice deep sucking kind of noise I can't really explain, but sounds great! Also if you rev up to about 4500 and let off.. gives off a little his noise. It's pretty neat.

i have tried all the different kinds of intakes and the best one in my opinion and the one that has worked the best in my ram air kit is the reactive foam cone pluss it sounds really cool cuz it suz so much air and you can clean them just by rincing them out and letting them dry for a min or so and re installing

I was just wondering on the difficulty of installing a short-ram intake. I've been told that it's just a bolt-on. Is it something that I can install myself or should I get it professionally installed?
