Thumbs up Lancer Eclipse Swap
I own a lancer is it possible to swap tranny and drivetrain with a eclipse GSX? So will have 4WD .

more money than it is worth.

this has been covered many times mainly the other way though, people looking to put the 4g63 engine in the lancer.

If you do it great but it will be costly.

if u have the money and time to do it, go for it. be ready to pay a lot but a 4wd usdm lancer would be pretty cool..well maybe if you stuck that 4g63 in there too..Lancer GSX?

different chassis makes a lot of complications, probably even custom made parts. I think you'd find it easier to do a swap with an older JDM 4wd Lancer... maybe

in the long run it would cost almsot the difrence between the lancer and the evo days apon days of work and most likely buying another to to get around in but hell if you want to then why not right

Stoopid newbie, if you wanted an AWD car why didn't you just BUY a GSX, they probably cost the same price as a Lancer buy now.
