Evo IX Warrenty?

Hi,
I am looking to buy and evo ix and one of the cars I am looking at is an almost completely stock 9 MR SE but the owner said it does not come with a 5 year 60,000 mile warrenty. Is that possible? I thought all 9's came with that.

When I bought my X the salesman told me Mitsu will not transfer a warranty to a second owner. Is that him talking smack or is the warranty only good for the first owner?

Yea^ Some east coast dealers will honor it for second owners you have a better chance on the east coast. The west coast you can damn near forget it!

Buy the evo from a dealer pay there asking price dont bargain em at all and maybe if you bring it back to that same dealer maybe they will honor the "warranty" just since your a customer they ripped off!

wow, and i thought subaru service was bad. if you happen to find one at a dealer ask them or get the VIN checked before you make a deal. if they deny it, walk away.

Wow I thought us srt-4 owners had it bad with warrenty work. Well I found the official awrrenty statement .pdf and it says the 5 year warrenty is transferable its just the 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warrenty that is not. http://www.mitsubishicars.com/media/..._statement.pdf

And no i am not buying an evo for the warrenty
