Hey guys, I was thinking about purchasing a new 2008 EVO. I have a couple of questions maybe you can help clear up for me.

1. is 2008 the last year made?
2. Is there any "special editions" made for 2008?
3. If yes to ? 2 what are they, and what are the differences?
4. Anyone know a good deal on any 2008 NEW models? North New Jersey.
5. Any known issues with these models? what to look for?

1) Yes, there was no 2009 model year Evo Xs. 2010 is being released soon. Date is known, I just don't know it.
2) No. MR or GSR.
3) N/A
4) Negative. Call dealers and ask?
5) They all need a tune, badly. If you're looking for NEW, there's really nothing to "look for". If it's "new" and has 500 miles on it, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Is there any "Packages" that i should be aware of? Are they worth the extra money? I know Navi is an option, but is there anything else?

 

SSS package = Sight ( HIDs), Sound (Rockford Fosgate Audio system), Spoiler (Big wing)

 

Aero package; front, rear, and side skirts.

when does the 2010 coming out again? i could find the date...

There's special editions of the X, just not available for purchase in the states. Look up the FQ series, I'm sure you'll find these models rather appealing.

 

Ive read a couple of times that when you get this car to tune it. why should a new car need tuning? what exactley am i tuning? Thanks guys
