first time buyer - GSR vs MR SST

I am a first time buyer looking to get an evo and would like your opinion on the MR SST. I know is not a true auto but I heard that this is faster becuase of the precise shifts over a manual. What are the pro's and con's of the SST over a GSR?

I'd say that most people have a strong preference for autos or sticks...not really relevant what kind of car it is. They are both nice trannies from what I've heard. My BMW didn't have anything on the GSR when it comes to shifting feel.

The MR is generally more luxurious/heavier, etc so there's more to consider than just the tranny. If you're looking for a 'fully loaded' car then the MR gets you closer to that from the base model.
