I'm going to get in before possible locked......your going to have to search the forums for cars for sale......but if you have the money I would suggest getting an evo 9 makes the most power for each mod. If you get an evo 8 I would only get the 05' best version of the USDM VIII.

Off topic but if I had the extra money I would so buy an EG hatch and drop a built GSR and an HTA 35r Turbo. I used to have a 00' Turbo Si running 500+whp daily driven....damn I miss her

from a 1.8T VW and it only took me about 3 weeks or so to get used tot he power of the Evo ... once it was broken in of course. You'll love it. Once you mod though the boost can come on a bit strong. It's scared a few of my friends that have driven it ... sort of violent around 3400 or so. You get used to it.

 

i fell in love with turbo honda/acuras when i was 17 and never thought id fdrive anything else....well 4years later i dropped 19k on a LOW milage 2005 black 8 with SSL. Never looked back and love it everyday i drive it....

Wait i hit a deer the same night and messed the bumper, intercooler and LICP and winshield up so ive been out an evo as it sits as parts are in transit.

 

Maybe but it would be SUPER BEAT UP. A friend bought one for 12k for an 8 but it was in pretty bad shape exterior wise.

 

Ouch. So if I want a 9 I'm going to pay over 20k huh? Dang it I was hoping not. I guess I still need to wait til prices come down.
