I had a 96 impreza that I did a full JDM Ej20g swap into, when I was 17, myself and it taught me SO much about cars. Now I'm 20 and I made some money and made the decision that an Evo was more bang for my buck then an STI. Even though I was a complete subie fan boy.

i think the reason Nasioc is more immature is because of the fact that WRXs can just be had for CHEAP now. So younger drivers = immaturity. It's a fact.

Welcome and grats on the new purchase.

I prefer NASIOC over evom and have been a member of both forum since 2003.

If you're from SCIC, stay away from teh OT

not all evo forums are the same though. this of course is the best one but there are plenty of smaller ones where the people aren't so civilized.

And now you answered the age old question that a few of us get asked all the time: "Why don't you go to NASIOC?"

Because it sucks? There's a reason I'm still on here. The only thing I like about NASIOC that this site doesn't have is the only reason I go on there: The smaller regional subsections. Utah basically has it's own section there in the RMIC. Granted, it's 90% idiotic, but still. S2ki does it one better though, every state has it's own sub section, and each state has at least two mods who are active members that actually live in the state. None of this "Vegas is cooler than Utah" favoritism crap.

Regardless, I'm an Evo owner thru and thru, just not a Mitsubishi supporter...

I'd love to see the correlation between production numbers, and hits.

Anyway, I used to own a 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX. I must say, the enthusiasts at Evom are MUCH nicer/more curteous then the enthusiasts on NASIOC. To backup my statement, I use the search function as often as I can. I know it gets annoying repeating the same answer over and over again to people. It just seems NASIOC in general are a bunch of people that hope and pray for someone to post something stupid so they can immediately flame them. It really shows their immaturity.

I just want to thank all of you for being a great bunch of people (so far from what I've seen). Rock on! Danny

lol lucky you... wish it was like that with me man. some the people i encountered here are very helpful and friendly, but like you said bout "It just seems NASIOC in general are a bunch of people that hope and pray for someone to post something stupid so they can immediately flame them. It really shows their immaturity." id hate to see how they are compared here. they love to flame people here as well man, so be carefull on what you post, because a lot of peopl here are immature
