Evo Vs Skyline

Ok which is your Favorite. Personally i love any evo they are all sick, but the only car that beats the evo to me is the R34. i love the way they look and sound etc... the only problem is they cost way to mush and they are damn near impossable to get. Let me know what you think.

1. R34
2. evo 9
3. supra (just through that in there)

kind of an odd comparison, seeing as R34+R35 skyline's are knocking on the door of "supercar" status, when i don't feel the evo is quite in that league.

i'll say the R35 is supercar status, but a stock R34 is slower than a stock EVO IX, unless you bring in the Z-Tune model. you can't really compare the new GT-R to the EVO though because it's more than double the price.

I've never driven a Skyline, but I have driven a IX and liked it enough to buy one as a keeper. Rather that relying on wishful thinking, I'm comfortable sticking with what I know works for me. YMMV.

Having driven both, and owning both as well. I can honestly say that the 2 are vastly different cars.

I lived in Japan for 5 years, skylines are way over rated. The base model is a NA, 2 liter POS. I saw integra's beat turbo skylines when I was there. Unless its a GTR its crap, IMO. But I'd take a evo 6 any day over a GTR!

its not in that league, but it might soud stupid but i would take a R34 over any ferrari. thats just me though. its not my fault if i love the sound of a spooling turbo. pluse this is not based on which league its in. its about which one you like better.

this isn't a fair test... i think most of us evo owners would get the skyline (esp. GTR) if we had the money and opportunity... dont get me wrong, i'm madly in love with my evo... but the skyline is like the prom queen you've always wanted to bang.

Having worked for a company assembling the suckers, easily R32-34 GTR. If you've never driven one you just don't know.

Skyline is out of my price range, so I don't even bother thinking about one.
