Hey guys so here is my back round

2004-2008 owned a APR stage 2 1.8t jetta
2008- present own a 04 wrx
- spun a bearing = $4,000 longblock
- Stage 2 mods & lowering = $ 1,500
- Now tranny is going bad = $3,000 (i dont want to do this repair, i could probably put it off another year)

- problem is i dont want to put a $3,000 tranny into a car approaching 90,000 miles and a car only at 235 AWHP. (to get to 300 AWHP = another $2,000)

The biggest thing that would help is if there is a poll somewhere for income of average Evo owner? i make $50k a year and wonder if thats enough to buy a used evo IX with my wrx trade in = maybe $18k auto loan

 

We can't determine if you can afford an Evo. Everyone has different expense's. One could make $150K/year and not have the money but someone else could live at home and afford one making 20/year.

Their are plenty of loan calculators, with good credit 18k loan amount will be 350 ish/month for the loan portion. You have to determine the rest.

 

ya i understand how everyones living expenses are completley varied. I was just curious if someone has started a poll at some point to help me gather an idea.... there was a poll like this on NASIOC for STI owners income...
