has anyone seen this evo

I bought this car from a dealer in orwigsburg Pa and he kind said some stuff was done to this car that really is not. So my problem is, I would really like to know what is actually done to this car if anyone recognizes it. As far as i can tell it has, carbon fiber hood and trunk, greddy intercooler, piping, hks exhaust, hks blow off valve, and a bunch of other engine mods. There were evo ny.com stickers an the car and also the number 065 on the back window. Supposedly it was from connecticut. Its a 2003 evo 8.

its tough to know exactly what is done to a car, especially engine mods. i just went through a similar situation when i imported my 8 to canada. i like to start from scratch so im changing everything myself anyway. good luck bro.

well, it ran fine for awhile and now every time i come to a stop it stalls out. i put a new throttle body on it cuz the screw that was in it was all jacked up, but it still has some idle problems. i have now ordered a 300 dollar iac valve for it to see if that takes care of the problem. I should get it next week.

u need to take it to a shop and have a tuner look at it before throwing money at it
evos that are modded tend to not idle very well
it could be somthing simple

have a tuner look it over and give it a tune, theyll find what's in it and may be able to diagnose the problem and then get it running strong.

If your blow off valve isn't recirculating then that would be a good place to start. That's what most people have problems with.
