I always loved push buttons! They look cool to me. THat one above looks all bulky though in that big non flush square.

isn't it just as easy to turn the key while your already going through the motions?
+1 I must agree.

It is pretty fancy but the mounting plate make it look sloppy.

hmm..i wonder if you can get one from a nissan maxima or relevant and splice it into the wiring that comes with the kit so that it doesnt look out of place as much. Basically just change the button out to one that looks better.

><; OEM?! What's the part number? I don't think it is supposed to go on that side... if you notice on the right side there is 2-3 cuts in the dash board... you could use those to slip the wire through... just a good guess...

the fact that someone said " i wonder if i can get one from a nissan maxima" negates all potential cool from having a push button start. (no offense to you, just quoting for effect)

i have used a bunch of these new fancy starters from the bmw version, land rover ect.. i never understood what was so difficult or un-hip about turning a key.

Part number is MZ604730EX, it goes right where I put it, I have a JDM evo with auto climate controls, those 2-3 cuts you mention have a temp sensor behind them, so they serve a purpose in my car.

No offense taken...just throwing a thought out there to possibly eliminate the awful look of it.

I personally dont like the push buttons either....everytime that I rent a car that has it I always still pull the keys out of my pocket and **** I forgot again oh well. Seems to be more of a nuisance than help really. I have lost keys in the car for way too long over this stupid button.

Ohhhh sweet! That's for a temp sensor! You learn something new everyday...lol I thought that was for some kinda microphone voice activation thing that never made it to the Evo... I mean that in all seriousness because of how the in cabin air filter never made it in some Evos that is so wierd... Mitsubishi made some wierd things on this car... It's almost half Evolved lol
