START button
Let me reiterate for the people that don't "get it". You NEED to have the key in the ignition and turned to the "ON" position; the button doesn't magically disable the immoblizer.
It's not so much that turning a key is un-hip, it's that turning a key THEN pushing an ***-ugly button is JDMuu TYTE™ as hell, y0. At least it'll impress your children/teenage friends.

Of course you need to defeat the immobilizer either by a reflash or taping your spare key (or just the chip) to the ignition tumbler inside the steering column shroud.

All you'd need for a full push-button solution is a rocker switch/push button combo like on the previous page. The rocker modulates power between the 12v constant power (white wire) and the ignition (black/white I think). Tee the constant power to the push-button switch, and hook the other leg of the push-button switch up to the black/yellow starter wire. Easy peasy. Starting the car is still a 2-step process (flip switch, hold start button until it starts).
