The 60k & 100k Mile Service

hey guys, I have a very basic and noobish question.

my evo just hit the 100k mark and unfortunately, when I hit 60k, I didn't have the big service done. I was wondering if anyone knew exactly what each service entails. I used to have a list from Mitsu but misplaced it a while ago.

Thanks in advance!

Well, you definitely need your timing belt and water pump service done. If you want a good price and a 60k service kit, go to http://www.mitsubishiparts.net/catalog/?section=652 and also you can call them, they are very helpful and just tell them that you want your 60k and 100k service done and they will tell you what to get!

Heck yeah, all that stuff is easy enough to do yourself. I just did my timing belt/water pump myself this past last Saturday; it wasn't as bad as I had made it out to be. Your looking at around at or over $1000 in parts and labor. DIY!

The thing with this is, they're going to say you should have everything done and checked out in order to make top dollar. A lot of the services are "dealer recommended" and not actually required. Thats why I was looking for an exact list of what they offer.

Well OP, the nice thing is that there is overlap in the 60k/90k (what you are referring to 100k) and your car is still doing okay (I assume). It would be more than $1000 if you take it to a dealer so I definitely recommend doing as much of the above as you can.
