Question evo8 FMIC on an evo9 MR

Would an evo8 FMIC fit nicely and with no problems on an evo9 MR?

Pretty sure the size would be close, but you wouldn't be able to fit the stock pipes without some PITA adjustments.

It is the same however the opening area on a Evo 8 bumper is greater and better than on a Evo 9 bumper.

i also tried this the LICP was a PITA... and the bottom of the bumper was pushed down due to the LICP hanging lower... but good luck

how about an 03 or 04 evo fmic.???

or is it just best to purchase an evo9 fmic?

are you talking about a stock or aftermarket FMIC? stock intercoolers are all the same, aftermarkets are the same but varies with the company, endtanks, licp, so on...

Yes the core will fit, but the in and out couplers will have a tight fit
depending upon which pipe route the endtanks utilize.
