Hey guys thanks for responding,ok my first problem is that my transfer case is bad.So that is problem 1, problem two is that i need factory springs,3 is the intercooler is bad i think,4 it has a cheap *** auto zone intake on it and it needs to be tuned.I am in the army and im in kansas right now so i have no idea where to go for stuff or anything.
Welcome to Evom my friend. How much did you pay for this 2003 evo 8 ? Your evo needs a complete Dress up, I would suggest you drive the car to Ohio, and drop it off at a small little shop called " Buschur racing "...let them bring this baby back to life !!!

Thanks guys,i love my evo.She is amazing and way more power than i expected.I think my clutch is bad and i want a mr front mount and an mr front bumper so if anyone has one for sale or a factory mr turbo let me know.I am just lookin to give my evo that newer performance and a newer look.!!
Yeah they are very fun cars. Just wait till you get some mods done and see what kind of power you make. As for the springs i wish i had a set of stocks i would trade for some teins, i have hotchkiss drop springs on mine i hate them. Just goin to go to coilovers anyway so not such a big deal. As far as your fmic, bumper and turbo you want its not necesarily MR any evo 9 parts will work. The turbo you will need an install kit tho to put it on an 8. As for an intake if your lookin to buy a new one i would recommend Perrin, i just got mine after much research great intake system other then it took a month to get due to being on backorder.

Let's start you off on the right note. As mentioned, there's no difference between the FMIC, turbo, and front clip on a MR and any other Evo of the same vintage. The MRs have 6-speeds and Bilstein suspensions, though many folks are buying used MRs with KYB suspensions installed. All other features were either stock or available as options on other models. Mechanically, there's no difference in the drivetrains. The MR is the second heaviest Evo, after the SSL, and it's usually not the model that appeals to Evo aficionados.
