help please, 700-800whp turbo choice

I'm looking for 700-800 whp on c-16, the motor of choice will be a 2.3 stroker, my problem is turbo choice? i'm not sure a 6262 will do it, a 6765 might be to big for a 2.3, high revving 2.1 may be a better motor choice for that turbo, injectors will be 1200cc so can i get some opinions?

FYI, 2.0/2.1 motor is out of the question

Might run out of injector @ 800hp with only 1200cc, but yea I'd go with the 6765. It makes that much power.

The HTA86 will be on the lower end of 700's on a normal Evo with PS, mechanical WP, 9.0:1 range compression ratio.

The 6765 will be on the upper end of the spectrum.

there are several turbos that will make that kind of power. The rest of the setup is very important though. You mentioned a 2.3L. What kind of compression did you have in mind? What kind of rods?

You have to keep in mind that while several turbos will flow the amount of pressure needed, it's important to take into consideration where you want your power. You can go big and get that kind of power at a "lower boost" but will be laggier and less responsive. You can go with something like a billet 6265 or so that will take a little more boost but be more responsive and fun to drive than a 67mm turbo.

Power is power, it's not that hard to make but making it enjoyable is where it takes a little bit of skill. Best of luck either way. Keep us posted on your progress!
