and not al ix's came with hids, my gsr didnt so i had to add those. wish i was able to add the yellow foglights too

My IX did not come with HID's. I have an 06 Evo IX GSR, no HID's. My friend has an 03 evo VIII GSR, his has HID's and can manually adjust the height of his lights, in which i cant either.

 

It does have a MBC. Its a dejon tool MBC. You will see the nob to the right of the radiator. Brake fluid looks very dirty too.

There's some rock chips on the front bumper as well. Go ahead and check if you don't believe me

I think with HID, you need to have a way to adjust the bulb....so if there isn't one (lower left driver side), then it's not HID from the factory.
