hey i tried searching for info on swapping over to a evo 9 front bumper on my evo 8. all ive seen were write ups for the rear bumper. does anyone know if its a direct swap or do i need to change somethings to get it to fit?

 

my god question has be answered a billion times. the evo 8 and 9 are basically the same car exterior wise. The 9 front will fit nothing extra is needed the headlights will fit the tails lights will fit the side skirts fit etc.... there is no difference exterior wise its all interchangable. And before you ask YES the jdm rear will fit a evo 8 you just have to mod the licence plate bracket etc...

 

According to what I have found the crash beam will need to be swapped over, but I can't sware by that.

 

yea im sure the front crash beam would have to be to different designs or you can leave it off. I drive my evo without crash beam. blah blah blah about if you get into a accident the motor is toast thats what insurace is for and chances are if your hit that damn hard its all gone anyways. on lighter note did you see the pm blackbichgsx.

 

Yeah, rear would have to be modded or swapped. I can't sware by that either because I don't know what swaring is
