I would go with the CBRD FMIC as well. You will not be disappointed!

Is there any advantage to getting ETS or Buschur?
Talk to Forced-Fed about the ETS I/C kits. They're a bunch of stand-up guys there and they'll steer you in the right direction.

i am happy that i bought the turbo xs intercooler. But if i would do it again, i will buy the AMS intercooler. Not sure if it is better or not, but the logo AMS on it look good.

How hard is it to have a FMIC anodized after purchase? I've read a couple threads where people say the painting/anodizing hurts peformance a touch but I don't know how much I buy into that.

I'm looking into Intercoolers myself and I really want a stealth look for everything on the car (it's debadged, dewinged, Perrin Stealth catback, etc). The anodized ETS 3.5" is winning thus far, partly because it's anodized to aid that stealth look. The CBRD one is tempting too, and may ultimately win out if I figure out a solution to paint/ anodize it.

Anodizing doesnt hurt performance at all. And it would be easier for you to just purchase one anodized but if you could line up a place to do it that would be fine but it may cost you more money that way.

look just like my turbo xs intercooler, 5" thick probably require removing the impact beam, not really safe to drive on street i think.

I can assure you your turbo XS doesnt even compare to this unit man. And yea the only downfall is there is no way the crash beam is going to fit with anything this thick, you have to gut the bumper pretty good. But this is strickly for performance not a DD

what are the full benefits of a larger intercooler?

Just super amounts of colder condensed air?

I'm not sure on my current tune as i picked up my car used but i'm going to be getting a tune after I install my uego and i'm trying to plan out my build.

Anyways I'm new to the evo scene so be nice .

thnx

larger intercooler give u the advantage to advance the timings when tuning the car, u would gain more power when advancing timing.
