FMIC suggestions

I am about to order a FMIC but I am unsure of the size I need. I dont intend on getting over 350-400whp/tq and the only reason i am changing it is cause it has seen better days. Its not leaking or anything but there was a dent in the bottom when I bought it and there are a few rock dings. Also I want to get the anodized black from ETS as long as Buschur's isnt better.
Is there any advantage to getting ETS or Buschur?

I am unsure of the difference because I do not know which core Buschur uses, but I know ETS uses Garret cores. As long as you get a 3.5" core, you will be good. Anything above 3.5" requires the crash beam to be modified. ETS also anodizes them upon order for another $100. I am in the same boat as you and am looking for a 3.5" ETS.

Is there any performance difference in the 3 vs the 3.5? The 3.5 is $100 more and if it is not needed for the hp/tq that I want then it is a waste of money.

You probably won't really NEED the 3.5" for your goals, wouldn't hurt though. The 3" would do fine if you're on a budget. Buschur front mounts have been proven the best though.

You can't go wrong with either of these intercoolers. If you want it anodized black then I think ETS is the only one, between them and Buschur, that anodizes them. 3" will easily handle the power you are looking to put down.

Why not get the ETS one if you already have an ETS LICP?
will your UICP work with both cores?

I will be buying the whole kit. Ets comes out a bit cheaper and comes with all the licp and uicp

also, anything up to 3.8" will clear the crash beam.

I'd recommend the CBRD FMIC. Garret 3.8" and no modification of the crash bar. Looks and works great too!

good advice im with you!

make sure if you go the ets route you ask for the garret core if not, you will not recieve it, you will get their designed core instead. buschur and cbrd use garret cores, the best choice in my opinion.
