350-400whp?
350-400whp?
Hey guys I have a few questions and need your imput... Ive searched but I see a lot of people going diff routes. My car is completely stock besides HFC, muffler delete, and hks filter... Also I purchased a Walboro and a turbo xs mbc. I know I need a downpipe, fmic and piping. the stock exhaust is 2.5 and the downpipes are 3 would that be a problem? Also I was going to purchase GSC s1 cams and injectors just dont know what cc.
Keep in mind that this is my DD and will see roughly 3-4 track events a year. Would I be able to reach my goals with this setup? My car has 30k on it so i want to stay on a stock turbo setup for now

3" TBE, o2 housig, keep the stock front mount unless you plan on going to the 450-500, get a good intake, cams are a good choice s1, walbro ok but not needed, stock injectors i ran up to 400WHP, do a LICP and an upper, watch the throttle body seals on the IX they blow easy get mill spec's if needed.
Thanks guys so my exhaust is useless since it's stock just more air flowing... I'm waiting for my defi boost guage to come in. which wideband guage would you recommened? So the stock fmic is good just get pipeing? I just got the fuel pump cause I got a killer deal on it so I bought it. As far as injectors go with 780's and s1 cams?

you wont be making 400whp on our dyno on stock turbo without meth, E85, etc..
on straight pump, a typical bolt on IX with cams and all of the trimmings is around 340whp...
cheers

If you're going to run pump then I wouldn't be surprised to see a turbo in your future. Since you're working with CBRD, a BBK full would certainly be the ticket.
I agree with doing a round with bolt-ons and a tune first. Once you start needing a clutch then the costs do snowball.
