First thing, get an intake. From there, start looking at getting a turbo back or at least catback exhaust. Short throw is a must. Probably should get a tune after this

 

First thing I'm doing is mudflaps.

 

I honestly don't get the whole "get a catback" as one of the first mods. You get maybe 10whp on a stock turbo, for what? $600 to $1200? There are a lot more mods that are cheaper with better gains. Until you upgrade the turbo, or just want better sound, I don't see the price : performance ratio. (Turbo back is another story).

 

clearbra and mudflaps! spent about $1000. but still get door dings from people opening their doors into mine and walking too close to the car and scruffing my paint...

I had an intercooler and mudflaps before I even bought my car. 3" TBE and UICP was on the way the day of.

Intake, exhaust and a tune

 

All you fans of intake as first mod; you guys do realize that when you tune it (or flash it via AccessPort) you will end up with about the same power, right? So, you kinda wasted your money on the intake.

 

I got laid in it..... Then I did an intake...lol
