My introduction and a few of my toys
My introduction and a few of my toys
I have had an account here for a few months now and no posts. Bought an 08 Evo MR a few days ago and I like it so far. No major plans for it and probably will be a while before anything happens in that aspect of it.

I have been with turbo dsm's for around 7 years now. Started off with a fwd turbo laser. Evos were not allowed in Canada until a few years ago and that is when it started to peak my interest. Until then I have been building something that would have more power than an evo and be fun to drive. Its my 1989 dodge colt, now its awd with the 4g63t engine (lots done to it). The last 2 years of it involves coilovers, 60-1 garret turbo, vi-pec ecm, shep tranny, act 2900 clutch, brakes and a cage. Its a blast to drive, looks like crap and no one expects much from it, but it never gets driven easy
.
The old laser:

When I bought the colt:

The old suspension in action:

It is a work in progress but it really wicked to drive and gets lots of attention from everyone. Only future plans for it are to finish tuning it, finish the body work, and finish the touchscreen plc install (its awesome). Push to start on it, all my aftermarket gauges are displayed on it (coolant temp, exhaust temp, afr, oil temp/press, fuel press and a few others). Can be setup to be password protected too.
Then there is the bike:
