I'd have to vote for either the stock metal dv or a similar style one (i.e. Tomei). Time and time again these have proven they work well and avoid many of the problems introduced by other types of dv/bovs.

2006 is an evo 9 lol, I have one.

 

Stick with stock DV if you like your car running right.

Save the $300 for some real mods.

 

its at the dealership right now im picking it up in an hour trading in my 2003 g35 coupe and yeah the sticker says its a 2006 EVO 8 SE its got 33000 miles are you guys telling me thats its really a evo 9?

 

I bet he has an 05 with ACD.

In that case, upgrade to the Evo IX metal DV from the plastic one on the VIII.

03 to 05 is Evo8 and 06 is Evo 9.

 

2003-2005 = Evo VIII
2006 = EVO IX
