New Evo Owner
Hey guys i hope this is ok to do this here if not, sorry Im a noob. I have just recently put $$$ down on a 2006 EVo MR, I will be getting it on Friday ( sleepless nights till then) Just kinda new to anything DSM always had hondas. I am trading in my S2K for it so i know i will not be disappointed. Just really looking for any info that can be offered about just normal do's and don'ts with these cars. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks again for having such a info filled place for me to boggle my brain.
Not to be argumentative, but I'm curious to know what's got you considering the switch? I've driven both. I really liked the build quality of the s2k. I think the evo is a much more exciting car to drive, though. To each their own, just would like to hear your thoughts.
I really love the roadster feel of the s2k and it drives like a go-kart. As for the evo it has awd, more room, and great car overall. Im not sure what to do yet but Ive recently driven my buddys s2k and really loved the way it handles and its a dam good looking car with the top down.
Congrats man! Here's are a couple do's and dont's : Do change all fluids when you get it, do check all belts and keep up with maintenance, do get a tune asap!! don't launch it over and over again, don't break the transfer case $ , as it breaks easily. Do post pictures !! :]

Its not as fast as my modded Evo, but it was more fun to just drive around. Plus dropping the top on a beautiful day is a great feeling!
