Swapping transmission

I have a 2006 Evolution SE 34,000 miles wondering if its possible to get a 6th gear?
eats gas literally on the parkway.

yeah one problem... its not cheap and you dont know if your getting yourself into a ****ty transmission thats about to fall apart

so if you already know that then what are you asking?

can you add a sixth gear to your tranny? no

the gas mileage with a six speed is barely any different

If you look up the specs from Mitsubishi, the 6speeds actually had worse gas mileage then the 5speed.

Have you thought about different gear ratios for your 5 speed?
