How works ACD???
If you want to feel a difference, this is what I did. Pick a corner that you drive every day, one you can take at about 25-30 with room to run very wide. Do it on a rainy day, hit that corner in 2nd and just before you apex it roll the gas on hard and get the power on. You will neutral steer, 4 wheel drift, or the tail will hang out a bit on your, or for snow the front end for me didn't push as much as I thought, which was a good thing. It pulled more than pushed but was a weird sensation. Then again this is my first all wheel drive car.
ok! my friend told me that it is the differences that you can feel in the winter! car behaves differently in the way that is better. is it true that as you start up the snow mode that more power is on the front axle? Like 60% of the front axle and 40% of the rear axle ??????

Car is always 50/50 F/R torque split. That never changes.
The different modes determine how long the center diff stays locked when slipping is detected. Snow locks the diff longer then gravel and Tarmac
Hope that helps.

You don't really need to change it out, just make sure the fluid is at the correct level. The service manual says "Diamond ATF SP III"
