don't get upset, there is always another one out there...giving my hopes up on several evos became the norm before i was united with my IX. be patient, you'll be happy to wait for an evo that runs right then a evo full of headaches. i'm glad i waited for mine.

Dont be discouraged, you'll find something that works for you in due time. Some people that are looking to get into an evo get all crazy and "purchase-wet" at the firs tfew that they come across. Again, take your time and get the credit straight to save you some interest for sure.

Also, no matter what evo you end up buying, dont talk negotiation on price or purchase until you check the compression....yourself (or someone you know). You have been warned! I checked mine and it had less that 50 miles on it at purchase brand new

PS - never seen a stock evo header that had no rust, it probably is coated if there is no signs of rust. Its not a problem if there is, just unsightly.

Good Luck

OMG this is f'ing nuts i saw the main post and was like hmm that sounds like the question i was asking myself about the evo...sure enough I click on the post and it is the car I just bought on Friday sorry Lankid23 I feel like i totally snaked you out of a car...But I was really concerned about the 7 previous owners myself but the car was super clean and drove nice so i decided to pick it up...traded my WRX in and got the evo for 18.5k. Once again sorry man.

hahaha i find it kind of funny dude, at least it was sold to someone here on the forums, but yeah there huge jerks dude. After they got rid of it they tried to sell me an apex silver one and they were like dont worry the white one had scratches and this and that basically telling bad things about so i could buy the other one, but its cool dude good luck with it!

haha what a bunch of idiots there aren't any scratches on the car...a small paint crack about 2 inches long on the rear bumper from a car bumping into it...and a little bit of sun spotting on the wings carbon fiber but that is about it...its pretty much flawless....I should of test driven a few other ones....the gears feel extra notchy when cold! going to change all the fluids and hopefully it becomes a little smoother.
