Hello to the EvoM community. I'm Justin, and I just got my hands on an 08 Mitsu Lancer GTS 5 speed...has sunroof, navi, and the Fosgate sound system. I had a 91 Eagle Talon TSi AWD that was modded pretty good....decided to get something newer and head in a different direction with cars. Instead of the speed demon, I want to go for something that looks sportier (come on, the 1ga DSM looks like hell, I'm sorry) and turn heads but NOT be riced out...GAG.

Anyways, here are some pics...and I hope to meet many Lancer owners in my time here. Some of these pics are from when I first got the car, it has red logos and the center and grille were done with vinyl, which was chipped. I took the vinyl off and to my surprise, there were 4 big nasty holes for license plate. I patched those up real nice with spot glaze, sanded it all and then redid everything with Plasti-Dip. Couldn't have asked for more. Turned out wonderful. Rear logo was also done in black...the red looked cheap. Sorry for the poor lighting in some of the pics...my phone doesn't pick up the garage lighting too well.

 

Looks good, Ive kinda been debating on getting a gts myself. I have a built 92tsi as well. My thing with the lancer is, I would try so hard to make it look like an evo X, that its almost rice?

 

I hate the way the Evo X front is....I will admit it right off the bat. I hate the two holes in the middle. I love the solid look, but having it silver across there doesn't sit well with me for some reason. I like the blacked out look. I don't want it to look like an Evo...because it's not an Evo.

I am going to get the side mount for the license plate, only because WA requires front plates. That's about as "Evo" as I will go. Plan on getting the RRM front lip here real soon.
