Looking for a REAL Supercar Sound muffler for Evo 9.. anyone?

Ok, i love how ferrari, lamborghini, maserati etc, sound...

Hard, supercar, god damn awesome sounding.

however i cannot afford one and probably never will buy one even if i could.

I love my evo 9, its the best car ive ever driven, in fact its so god damn awesome i bought 2 more, (because 1 or 2 are always in the shop being modified in some way or another so i dont like to stay without my evos, even for a day)

Ive made it my personal quest to find an exhaust system that sounds at least similar to this.

Every single one ive bought (4 so far) sound like over exhagerated 17yo honda mufflers, huge subsonic output.

There must be a way to do this, or at least someone should know of a muffler system that achieves a similar sound (ofcourse never LIKE that but similar)

Nice sexy supercar sounding... not cheap civic with a $200 buck exhaust.

If i have to buy an original lamborghini exhaust and adapt it that is not out of the question, max spending limit on this project is $12,000 USD

Anyone know any exhaust systems that match this sound description?

THIS is what i mean:

Any help would be apreciated

Hmm? Be kinda tough to pull of with the 4g63, best I've heard is a buschur exhaust with kelford 280 cams, made a sick rumbling sound, nothing like a Honda

start by making it a .7 litre 4cyl and make it have 12:1 compression. then i think youd be on your way to having that real supercar sound well half atleast! in your clothe. 4 cylinder. Mitsubishi.

Yeah, this just isn't possible. Most super cars have "V" or "W" configurations, and our inline engines will never be able to imitate that kind of sound. You're just gonna have to pick and exhaust you like and live with it. Don't get me wrong, I love the Ferrari sound, but I'd never want my Evo to sound like that.

for 12k you can probably buy a second 4g63 and weld them together or maybe put the second one in the trunk, that might get you close to a v-8 sound.

Realistically, it's not possibly to make an inline 4 imitate the firing order and exhaust configuration of a v-8. You'd be better off getting a high quality ferrari recording, hooking up some real nice speakes, and wiring a volume switch to your gas pedal.

or even better, take all of the money you say you put into your 3 evo's plus the 12k for your exhaust and just buy the maserati.

It's the engine, not the exhaust making the sound. Enough said.

The top shop drag cars sound down right nasty when hammering down. You can try to build your car close to their spec. 10k rpm sounds awesome.
