Who puts there evo away for winter?

I am curious to see what people think about putting there car away for winter.
If you live somehwere like me where you get snow from oct. to may (seriously)
I put mine away so it helps keep miles low and value up. Plus every spring it feels like a new car and i drive really slow cars in the winter so it gives me something to look foreward to all winter! plus the first time i slam the gas it gives me a huge adrenaline rush.

But it just me i would love to keep my car out but i hate snow and i own several cars so it does not bother me to put it away.

I realize it is AWD but it doesnt matter if that is what it is made for, its my baby and i would kill someone if they slid into me!

The purchase of an AWD car, such as my EVO, was 75% of the decision making because of the snow I live in.

I stand agree'd... AWD is defintily a plus when coming to buy a car but since it is not my only car i could much rather store it in a warm garage and drive my other cars plus gas is twice as good in the other cars so i helps out plus i have a 100% chance of not sliding into a ditch and destroying my dream!

But i do love driving it the very first day of snow.... Doing some DONUTS in the nearest church parking lot... waiting till mid day wash, wax, detail and put her away and dont touch till there is no more snow but occasionally it will sprinkle alittle snow in april and may. just enough to melt when it touches the ground

Its not that I dont feel bad for my car in the snow, but I didnt spend all the money on my evo to not drive it. If only I had a cool winter car then I would store the evo, but my other ride is a honda crv...

I drive mine all year, its not like its a ferrari or something, look above evolution and it still says lancer . Its gonna get dirty its gonna get scratches ect..it is afterall a rally car. Its like dudes who buy big @$$ trucks and get lift kits ect..then wont drive through a puddle...kills me.

I have options ie: 92 Corolla to drive during snow....but once in awhile i take the evo out on a fresh snow covered parking lot and have at it....then take it back to it's nest.

I don't trust people.

An evo is not a collectible car like a supra. I pay too much for it to sit in the garage. Winter tires + SAWD + ASC = Fun

Mines put away for the winter been in the garage for almost 5 months now. I occasionally start it up every few days. I live in Chicago so winter months suck here obviously, thank god i have a SUV to drive daily in the winter. Also i hate the salt haha.
