Wanna hit 12s

I have a evo 9 with ETS intercooler upper and lower pipes..intake..tbx...APS blow off valve...wat else do i need to hit 12s? i wanted to get 272 cams 1000cc injectors fuel pump fuel rail and get tuned but i heard my stock turbo wont hold up to long if i do that ?

You should be able to hit 12's no problem with your current mods plus a Walbro 255 and a tune.

You'll eventually want a stronger clutch as well.

12's... Easy.. Drop in Filter, MBC and Tune.. DONE DEAL.. But since you are already modded just tune what you got and DONE..

No need for 1000's, Fuel Pump or Fuel rail..

agreed. you should be able to hit 12's easy with the mods that you have right now. just have it tuned (if it isn't already) and get an upgraded clutch so you can launch the car better/consistently.

Definitely need to get rid of that APS and get a Tial 50mm bov. Itll get you into the 10's.


Im sorry, I just hate when people list their blow-off valves as part of their mod list and think theyre going to add hp or something

As for the turbo not holding up too long, I have the same general mods you have plus a few more and my stock turbo's at 30psi and still perfectly fine. Might want to invest in some ARP head studs though!

me with a turbo back and a tune with two boost leaks went 12.2 at 109 so you will be fine

i ran 12.6's all day in my 06 MR when i had her. only mods were TBE, intercooler, MBC set at about 22psi

ive been to sum shops and they all tell me i need to go bigger turbo..which i dont want too so this info really helps out

Seriously, x2. You will easily be able to run 12's. Maybe you should aim to hit 11's.
