Hello all you raving mad Evo drivers! Subaru STi guy here, just thought I'd join to learn more about my enemy (joke). Actually, I am thinking of building a full-time rally car, and EVOs seem to be much cheaper to build than Subis (money to horse power ratio for sure!).

So, looking around for some cars .. but at the same time, learning more about EVOs and tuning (I tune open source on Subis using Rom Raider ... or at least, just started to do it on my own after learning from more experienced tuners). May help out the EVO guys over here (in the Czech Republic as well).

Yes, I'm in the Czech Republic (I am an American, but live here) -- Prague to be exact.

Here is some practice video of me and all of my friends -- only 1 Evo, but he's the best driver (just won the amatuer rally championship for 2009 in the Czech Republic). The white STi is me.

nice cars and welcome, but it doesn't seem like there was any point in making that corner a hand brake turn. it would have been faster to just grip it, and maybe let the tail slide a little bit because of trail braking. losing traction there just slowed all the cars down.

 

Well, I was just practicing .... but the guy in the EVO is the Czech amature rally champion ... he's very fast. It's a pretty sharp turn .... just slowing down may be faster, but since it was practice ... it definitly isn't as fun ;-)
