go and inspect the cars your self if you can u might be able to see some imperfection in the exterior or parts that need changing that way u can beat down the price to a manageable figure

The Suede Recarro's are nicer than the blue seats in the VIII. The trim panel in my car is also carbon fiber and looks nice. I also have an MR though... not sure if my interior is different than a normal IX. The SE seats are the best though.

The leather seats take a crap? Never heard or seen this and besides, like anything, if you take care of things and dont beat them up, im sure they will last forever. You could make the same argument for the drivetrain or other parts of the car.

I am in no way putting down the VIII as it is 99% the same as an IX. I just personally held out until I found the IX I wanted and telling the original poster that if he is going to spend 20k, to wait for a IX since it will be a 'newer' car.

tell the silver evo owner to give you better pictures first. if you only see KBB value, both cars are similar bang for the buck. if you include mods, the black car is better deal long as the seller can be bargained down abit. i'd say fair price for that car is 19-20k in this tough market.

I say just wait it out...im in the same situation and I am waiting for people to realize that they won't get the same prices on their cars that they used to. Just keep looking you will find a way better car for way cheaper for sure
