plz read and comment

Hey guyz so far i learnt alot on this gr8 forum but there are still things that i cannot understand what is the difference between a turbo back exhaust and a catback exhaust. In additon to this which brands are the best in exhasut systems pls comment evo users. I am actually looking for an exhaust which marks my evo's presence when on a traffic light and sounds cool when launching but is not too loud or the dubai police will have it removed.Apart from that i made a list while extensively going thru this forum of basic mods for my X:

1)Exhasut system
2)UICP
3)FMIC
4)MBC/EBC (not sure about this one yet need advice)
5)ECU tune

Welcome! There's a ton of quality exhausts out for the X, just read and search through the forums here to get an idea of what brands are the most popular.

Best thing to do is go to youtube.com and search for the terms evo-x and exhaust.. should help you find the sound you're looking for a little easier.

Although hearing an exhaust in person is the best bet. But even then different setups will sound different. IMO the quieter the better.

Turboback = full exhaust from the turbo back (downpipe, cat/test pipe, and so on)
Catback = exhaust system from the catalytic converter back...

Less backpressure from turboback, but if you just want the sound go for a catback
