Instead of a turboback..
Instead of a turboback..
So I want to be able to pass inspection on my car when it needs to be renewed next year. So instead of a TBE I was thinking of doing a downpipe w/ highflo cat and catback exhaust. Will this work?

I read up on this

* 3” Downpipe
* 3” Test Pipe, 3" Resonated Test Pipe or 3" High Flow Catalytic Converter
* 3” Cat-Back Exhaust
* Necessary Gaskets and Hardware
I might need to go with that one. No? haha. Duh!

I don't think you can choose a better exhaust, quality and performance wise. plus AMS has a silencer insert you can put in the muffler if you have to pass a decibel test during inspection. I run the resonated test pipe during the year and swap it out for the high flow cat during inspection time. I love this exhaust system!
Not too loud with the resonated test pipe, unless you get on it. the high flow cat should be about the same. It is a great sounding exhaust system. I had the test pipe w/ no resonator at first and it was loud as hell. You can go on youtube or wherever and search for AMS exhaust to check out the sound, though the computer wont do it justice.
