Talking Hi! New owner of an EVO VIII

Hello everyone.

I picked up a 2004 Evo yesterday and just wanted to show off my car on the forum. The car has been slightly modified.
I also have a 2005 Honda Civic that I'm keeping as a daily driver.

My plans:
*Getting rid of my catback exhaust for an OEM catback exhaust. So, if anyone in the SOCAL (LOS ANGELES/ OC area) is willing to do a straight trade and help out swapping the exhaust, that would be great. I'm not even sure what brand it is and what size exactly.
*Re-clearing the carbon fiber parts of the car since it has oxidized badly.
*Removing the ugly film tint off both the headlights and tail lights.
*Replacing my tails with the red and white tails (non altezza style).

^Bull emblem coming off soon lol

^My other car.

Apologies for the cell phone pictures. Taken with Motorola Cliq.

I'll answer both questions on this quote lol

I want to mod it in the future, but I'd like to keep the piping but unfortunately, the current exhaust system is very loud. I need to research what muffler I can just swap on, replacing the current muffler.

Looks like you have an aftermarket intercooler on the car also. Nice pick up.

grats on the Evo. you can try adding a Magnaflow muffler where the cat/straight pipe is to help tone down some of the noise.

Well why dont u research what type of exhaust you have on there now? kind of silly to get rid of somthing that you might want to put on for better performance in the future, just a suggestion so you can spend the couple hundred on EVO necessities like a boost gauge or a wideband.

Good point. Though, the initial reason why I wanted to get rid of my current exhaust is to have a quieter exhaust system.
