if the car's still under warranty mitsu should replace it. if not, you can always just reclear the faded section, or do what some people have done and just strip the paint off the entire wing and get the whole thing recleared. EVO 8 wings are full carbon fiber. EVO 9 wings are carbon in the middle, ABS on the sides.

So..I got the car. Love it! Everythings awesome on it. looks clean but the dang mirror came off!! not the whole thing...just the glass part. looked like it came unglued for idk what reason. anyone know where i can get just the mirror? lol
a local autoglass shop can order and install it for about $40. congrats on the car. make a pic thread so we can check it out.
just get some silicone and put it on the back and the tap the mirrior on for approx 24hrs and take the tape of and it should be good! Unless you broke the glass that case have to buy one
WINGLESS FTMFW!!! Welcome to the forum! Get that 60K done quickly dont risk bending valves! Been there done that on a 1st gen Tsi not fun! Dont listen to them get a CF trunk. Make sure you stay up to date on fluids and maint. as well. If you do end up modding make sure every time you put a new part on you get a tune dont want to run lean. Also look into MIDWEST evos since I see you are from TN. The more info the merrier. I am on four diff forums so spread yourself out and look around. Most people post their mods in signatures so watch what pops up the most and you will see what the better mods are so there is no trial and error. Did you have a shop look at the car when you bought it? too bad your not in the military or you could use USAA for insurance I have full coverage on my EVO, 4runner, and wifes Mini S and we only pay 160$ a month and I also have storage ins on my TSI in that plan to.
