Shock/Spring Replacement

So I am going to swap out the shocks/springs on my 2003 Evo and was wondering if there is a guide on this site that has a step by step on how to do it. I searched and couldn't find much. I found a youtube video on how to do it one day, but I lost the link to it.

Also, the reason why I am doing it is that the previous owner stripped the bolts connecting the springs to the shocks so I had to weld on the middle nut keeping the springs on. I bought an OEM replacement set from Mitsubishi and was wondering if I would need to buy a new set of nuts to go along with them. Thanks for the help.

Fair enough my bad.

Quick question: I need to order a new nut that connects the spring to the shock (the one in the middle) what is the best site/place to get it or should I just go to the stealer ship?

Dealer is the best place for the Nut shouldn't be too much. I haven't bought one on the evo but on my last nissan it was a strange thread, tried several places and ended up going to the dealer
